How To Clean A House

With so many things on our plate at once these days, there’s little time left in the day for anything else. That includes housecleaning. A recent study found that only 35% of respondents said they clean their house on a regular basis. That’s understandable when you consider how hectic life can be these days, but it doesn’t make the mess any easier to tolerate! If your home is feeling neglected and in need of some TLC, there are plenty of ways to save time by doing more with less so you can get back to living your best life.

First off: start small. Tackle one room at a time according to its needs instead of trying to do everything all at once or spending hours just tackling an area like the kitchen because it feels like such a daunting task. Whether it’s dusting every inch of your area or in a small portion of your room, take the time to be thorough.

Gather all your cleaning tools in a caddy: take everything in a portable tote, such as a basket or bucket, and make sure it’s easy to carry. Put everything you need in one spot for the entire house at one time so that there are no distractions from running around gathering supplies every few minutes!

Before getting started with cleaning any area of your home, ask yourself: “Does this room have furniture?” If so, take all the items out of the space before sweeping floors or scrubbing toilets – things will be much easier if nothing is blocking access anywhere. Similarly, if an area has lots of small pieces like bookshelves loaded up with knickknacks or a desk packed tightly with paperwork don’t forget to empty those spaces first before picking them clean!

Remember to take care of yourself as well by making sure you have downtime and a few minutes for your sanity every day, otherwise you’ll find it’s too easy to get lost in the mundane tasks that are necessary but not so enjoyable! And remember: house cleaning is only one part of what makes living at home more comfortable; don’t forget about laundry or dishes either!
